LMIA expiry and Canadian work experience points

Hi folks. Hope you all are well.
i hv got LMIA from Ontario employer and it says that”it will expire by 31st dec 2023 and before that the Temporary foreign worker must apply for work permit or PR”. Let’s say I get work permit by March 2023 (looking at current processing times) and I reach there by april 2023. I work there for 1 yr and gain points for experience with that employer. Will I get those 50 points during april 2024 when I complete 1 yr experience. Or bcoz my LMIA is expired 4 months back so no points in that case and only get experience related points.

Thanks for your reply. So that means again whole process of taking our job offer in newspaper or indeed etc , again conducting interviews ?? Again 1100 CAD spending ? I don’t think so.

Or I am missing out something from what u said.

Yes if you want to count the job offer for your PR application. The job experience still counts just not the job offer points.
