LMIA exemption , refused

Hello ,
I am living in Canada as visitor being sponsored with my wife ( spousal sponsorship outland) , I applied for LMIA exemption work permit but the CIC refused it telling me that this type of work permit should be applied from outside Canada .

Is that true ????

On what basis do you think you qualify for an open work permit? You don't qualify for one because you've been sponsored for PR by your wife. You would only qualify for one if you had been sponsored through the inland process.
