Hey everyone!
I have been doing some research on this topic but haven't been able to find anything on the CIC homepage that specifically applies to my question, therefore I am hoping that someone here in this forum can provide me with an answer.
CSQ holders who are currently in Canada and are waiting for their PR application to be finalized are eligible to apply for a closed work permit at the border without an LMIA (QSW and PEQ applicants that is). But what happens when their current work permit has expired? Are they still LMIA-exempt while being out of status, trying to restore their status as a worker?
