I have got closed work permit (in calgary) and there is location condition in my work permit.
I work from home from Edmonton and I am planning to apply for Spouse PR where we will have to provide current address which is Edmonton.
Am I violating of condition to live in calgary?

is this condition only province-related or city-related as well?

Yes you are. It would be a problem. As the closed work permit has the address of your employer and you only have to work with them only. In order to work full time the bussiness should be accessible to you. You can prove that you travel to work every day. You can get a letter from your employer saying you are allowed this privilege. Though I maybe wrong. But you can try reading your LMIA between lines if you can find something regarding this. Hope this helps

My employer doesn't have any problem. But in PR application, If I will specify edmonton's address then will it create issue in the application? If you have some idea then can you please shed some more light.
Also, regarding this issue, which organization can mark it as issue, ESDC or IRCC?
Also, in LMIA - location is Calgary.
And how will letter from employer help in this case? Since, its Spouse PR I am not sure if I should be explaining this situation or not at all.

Even though lets says it goes unnoticed this time. How will you explain it in your PR application. Ask your company if they can issue you an official
letter saying that they have given permission to you to work from offsite? If you don't mind can I ask you which industry are you employed in?IRCC is aware of anything. Give me a day or so I will ask around and let you know soon. Hope this helps.

That will be very helpful.
I am in the software engineering field. Please let me know if you get more information on this.
Thanks a lot

I am also confused if I need to provide an explanation or not since its spouse PR application.

The fact that your payslips come from the Calagary offices doesn’t get you off the hook. A closed work permit has a specific location attached to it or you could be working from outside of Canada at this moment and there was no need for you to be located in Canada. All your personal information will be associated with you living in Edmonton. Your home address, all your utilities, bank account, etc. Your employer may be ok with you working remotely but if that was the case they shouldn’t have applied for you to work in Canada. Currently you are violating one of the condition of your WP. You can probably get away withsaying you had towork remotely when you were not allowed to go into the office due to Covid but I believe that was only during a short period in Alberta. At the moment you are supposed to be located in Calgary.

Sorry to tell you that just recently also heard that it could be a problem (from an expert). Why would a company take pain for LMIA if they had to allow someone to work from home, why would they had to sponsor you to Canada if their purpose was serving with you not present on their premises. In that case maybe your employer can also be in trouble.

Think of it this way . If you can work anywhere , remotely , why do you have to be in Canada ? You could do this job back in your native country, and getting PR etc wouldn’t even be a issue

btw , of course you’re violating your work permit

I called IRCC and also pinged them on twitter.
In both of the places, they said it's fine. I also noted down Agent ID from IRCC and reply on Twitter in case things go south. Please do something for yourself so that you have proof.

Unfortunately IRCC customer service and twitter give out incorrect information all the time. At least you have the written response confirming that you have explained your exact situation and someone at IRCC has said that you can work remotely from a different part of Canada irregardless of the location stated on your closed work permit. An agent ID number doesn’t mean anything and people should really get a written response via webform as proof to confirm any advice from IRCC and make sure to be very clear about all the details regarding their situation and question so there is no potential misinterpretation. Unless done in a DM most immigration situation would be tough to explain in full detail with limited characters and the IRCC twitter operator is really a social media specialist and has posted incorrect things very often so would always contact IRCC via webform for important information. There is a location specified on a closed WP for a reason or else it wouldn’t be posted there in the first place.
