I am actually in a dilemma. Its just been 7 months since I've been working with a company and have 5 months left for completion of one year experience. And I've heard that we can't go for LMIA before gaining that one experience. So, I am thinking if I should wait for the next months before asking my company about the LMIA or ask them before. The company is actually very big. And I am left with 11 months on my PGWP. Can't really work somewhere else coz time left is too short. Please advise.
Thanks in advance for your help.

One year of work is needed to be able to apply for Canadian Experience Class and should not be confused with LMIA. LMIA is to prove that your employer was not able to find a local person to fill the job vacancy thus he wants to hire you instead.

Thanks for the reply PSIL. Though the problem is the company that I am working in is very big. I know they would surely get ready to apply for LMIA but I am afraid they might start resisting when they'd come to know that they also need to show their company documents. Could you please advise what are those documents exactly that they need to surrender and what needs to be done in case that situation happens?

Thanks again in advance

A quick google search turn up this:
