Living in Gatineau, working in Ottawa

Hello,

I am currently working as a PhD student in OttawaU, and I lived in Ottawa for 3 years. However, I am now living in Gatineau. I am confused whether this will be a problem in applying for the PR under the express entry program (Skilled worker)? Do I have to stay in Ontario to show interest in it?

You must show your intention to reside outside the province of Quebec, so if you're living in Quebec you'll have to convince the processing officer that you're not intending on residing in such province.
