Living in Canada while working for a foreign company

Dear all,

We have a family business outside of Canada, and I am a manager at the company. All our work is done electronically, which means I can work and live wherever I want to.

In light of this, is it possible to live in Canada and even apply for PR while working for myself?

You cannot just live in Canada without following due process regardless of where your business is physically based. There are a few posts in this forum about working for own company and the challenges that can present with immigration. Assume you have investigated all the options available .
