Living in Canada for about 3 months, what now?

Hello,

I traveled to Canada using a PRTD based on H&C grounds in may, for the last three months I've been doing nothing but studying at a University in BC.

Should I be going to the CIC to do something or not? My dad has been telling me to go to CIC just in-case there's something important to do. Any advice?

You should apply to renew your PR card. Since you got a PR TD on H&C grounds, that overcomes any RO violation you may have had so allows you to apply for PR card even if you don't meet the 2-in-5-years requirement.

Can you share your experience on how to apply PRTD based on H&C grounds - what is the reason that they grant you on this? Thanks,

How to use PR TD to renew PR card? Using the same renewal form with attached PR TD document or another form need to be used?

Sorry for the late reply, busy with university.

In the IMM 5444 (PR Card application form), its requesting the time I spent outside Canada in the past 5 years, which will show that I do not meet the RO. There is no option on the application form that allows me to state that I have come back to Canada based on H&C grounds.

I'm not sure if I should be submitting the application. What do I do?

(bump)

I still do not have an answer, it seems to be a tough questions, should I contact a lawyer for consultation?
