live in caregiver

Hi guys

I am an international student here. I came here one year ago. I was doing Program called personal support worker. But i was failed in one course.
Now my uncle want to hire as live in caregiver for his kids. Am i eligible to get hired as a live in caregiver as i am not graduated? If i can get hired what is the procedure to apply for open work permit?? Please help whoever knows about it.

Hi dhillon, what is your current status? Are you still studying? You will be qualified for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) once you are done with your course. If you're still studying, you can apply for an off-campus work permit. But since you wish to work as a live-in caregiver, you might need to follow the requirements of the program. Not sure if you can file your app though while in Canada on study permit or if you need to go back to your home country first.
