Im a live in caregiver in toronto and has recently obtained my open work permit and in the process of getting my permanent residency. I have a few concerns.
I want to consider changing jobs. - If my current employer releases me and I take a job outside the caregiver field, will this affect my PR application? Do I have to inform CIC that I am changing jobs?
CIC started processing my PR application last August, what is the time frame for me to get my PR status?

you don't need to inform the CIC since OWP is granted so you can still stay in Canada and look for jobs while you're waiting for your PR..
