Hi, I'm a live in caregiver here in Calgary for 13 months now. My Canadian boyfriend and i are planning to get married on august 2013. What is the best option, we get married on august or we wait until i get my open work permit? I know it is illegal for the live in caregiver to stay out, how If my employer agree that i will live out together with my boyfriend by summer after our wedding, Is there any problem when i apply for my permanent resident because i stay live out?

Please give me some advice. Thanks

1. You live out, your work permit is no longer valid and no longer eligible for PR under the LCP.

Hello.. Its not a problem even if you guys get married but its wrong to be live-out because your still under LCP.. But if his planning to sponsor you much better that would be great. Now the process for PR under LCP is getting longer.. Thanks hope it would help.,..
