Live-In Caregiver Eligibility

Good afternoon!

I have a question about "Live-In Caregiver" program. Can I be eligible for it, if I don't have an official employment as caregiver, but for last 5 years, I had nursing my grandmother (80 years old now), who is my only family member and who survived apoplexy couple of years ago?

No - you won't qualify based on taking care of your grandmother. The experience must be official paid experience.

Please tell me when we apply for live in caregiver how wud i have to prove dat i was paid for full time work.
Bx where i worked they give me cash salary of which i hv no proof. M form India , pz must reply

Proof like pay slips, tax records, time sheets are the best proof. Even you get an employment certificate sometimes the officer is not convinced. If you dont have any proof then i am not sure how you will be qualified unless you have the 6 months training.

I have got a experienced letter from my employer stating dat i hv worked for him for his kids, wt was my duties,etc.
But i have no proof of pay, its worry me. But i have also a 1 year nursing helper certificate from one gud hospital. will it help me.
