Hi,
I'm sponsoring my wife in China and we'd just like to confirm what documents require certified translations:

1) police certificate
2) hukou
3) birth certificate
4) marriage certificate

We don't have any children, and I'm not sure what a death certificate would be used for.
Also, I've heard that you need the bio-data page of your passport translated, but it's already bilingual (Chinese-English), so can anyone confirm that just a photocopy will suffice?

ALL documents not in english/french translation require certified translations, as well as "certified true" copies if you are not including the originals. The only items that many people don't get certified translations of, is logs of chats/emails in which case some recommend just simple translation is ok (especially if you have hundreds of pages).

If passport bio page is also in english, then just a regular photocopy is fine.
