LANDED..........
14-10-2018
Hello,
I'm working on preparing my list of goods to follow to prepare for my soft landing in two weeks. I'm an art teacher and I also create my own paintings and drawings. I'm going to be bringing a lot of artwork that I created myself and I am wondering how detailed I need to be in describing it in the list of goods to follow. Do I need to list each individual piece, or can I just write something like "Small paintings." or "assorted drawings" and list a value for the group? Value for an individual piece would be from $100 - $1000 depending on the size and medium, and value for the group would add up to several thousand dollars.

I brought a collection of original artwork from a Canadian artist with me ranging from 50$ to 3500$+. I listed each once, included a picture, and the value. I had no issue getting them into Canada via shipping; no one even questioned it.

If you are doing a soft landing and do not plan to move to Canada for at least one year, there is no need to a list of good to follow.
