I would like to hear some peoples' experiences landing, now a lawyer said you do not need a list of goods if you personally have it with you ie laptops.
But I would like to know if you are brining in items such as clothing only nothing else no utensils or household appliances. Do you really need a list of goods? What happens at the border when you land, please let me know?

You need a list of goods, but it doesn't need to be detailed if it's just things like clothing. Mine included line items like "Clothes: 5 boxes" and "Books: 3 boxes"

When you land, they'll stamp the list of goods stating that you get to import those things duty-free.

When my husband landed, he presented his list of goods with the value of the total of the items listed also. Everything went very fast and smoothly. They didn't even open his suitcases. Others that did not have a list that were going through security had all of their suitases opened, and everything checked to make a list then and there, so I would strongly suggest that you have a list of items that you have with you, as well as a list of goods to follow. The value of the total of your items does not have to be exact, just approximative.

The list just said like x number of shirts, x number of pants , x number of vases ,etc.... It was not a very complicated list to make.

Happy landing to all
