Hey! Hi,

I've applied for a PG Diploma in Accountancy in Thompson Rivers University, BC for May intake.
Done my medical BEFORE VISA APPLICATION (I'll apply on Monday) I took a loan for 14 Lakhs, My Agent Canam recommends me showing Liquid Funds of 2 Lakhs to make the total to 16 Lakhs to be on the safer side.
Is it really that important? Because I have Liquid funds of about one lakh in my savings account, no FD or LIC. BUT Have money in Current Account.

Profile - XII - 75%
B.com - PU - 50% (Supplementary in one subject. Cleared in first attempt)
IELTS - 7.5 (R 8.5, L 8.5, W 7, S 6.5)
Any other Advice I should Follow.
Thank You!

Hi,

1. Not required if Rs. 14 lacs meets the requirement of 80% of first year tuition + CAD 8,000 living expenses (India).
2. Your certified loan is itself a proof of your financial capacity; doesn't mean that you must prove it by a bank statement.

Hi Enfield,

Can you pls tell me what is the base to calculate for financial proof? i m from india.
i know (Tution fees+Travelling Exp+Living cost) but how to calculate it and what is the timeline? is it for one year?
i.e we have to show 1st year tution fees + 1st yr living cost + 1st yr travelling exp.? what is the base actualy?
