Linking Application to CIC/GCkey

My husband has previously worked in Canada, so he already has a UCI number. Would there be any benefit to try and link the application using the UCI before we even receive the AOR? Or should we wait until the AOR comes through? Our application was received in Sydney on Aug 26.

You can try, but a lot of applications arent linkable until at least just before they send out your AOR. You still probably have at least a month, if not longer, before it's linkable
