hello friends

i have friend she wanna apply IN FSW category
the problem is that she wanna apply for NOC 2281 computer network technician
but she has experience as a NETWORK ASSOCIATE
designation of NETWORK ASSOCIATE is right for NOC 2281 computer network technician?
plz help,,,,,

Hello,
her role's duties will matter more than her designation.

Pls consult with NOC guide http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2281
and find out if her actual duties/responcibilities match with duties given in NOC description.

Keep in mind that most of her duties must be similar to those stated in description!
And, naturally, all of this duties must be mentioned in the reference letter.

thanks for reply
designation will not matter?
job duties match with that but not completely... is that ok

Yet again it depends on how relevant her actual role to NOC 2281.

If it's highly relevant as she actually performs most or all of NOC 2281 duties - then her designation is not that importatnt.

And decision will be made on the basis of information, provided in reference letter. So be very carefull with it and make sure that all he relevant duties are listed, while irrelevant discribed briefly or omitted.

In the end of the day only you guys can sit n decide if it's possible to push her through as NOC 2281 specialist.
The Devil is in details ;)

Good luck
