hi
I'm planning on inviting my father and mother in laws on super visa.
I'm not sure about family size. If it's 4 or 5, because it says size of 1 on the chart is you and one child, so that's two in total?
me, wife, 1xchild, 2 x in-laws
is that 4 -$42065 or 5-$47710?

Also, do they look at combined house income from 2011 tax return? Or one year back from the time of application?

Thank you

you/your spouse need to send NOA for 2011 & proof of job at present

Thank you

Your LICO is: 5-$47710

thanks for quick reply

if my lico is 5 persons, in what case, would 1 person - $22637 apply?
when someone sponsors nobody?
Why doesn't the chart start with 2?

my combined house hold income from 2011 will be short $60 if my lico is 5..... QQ
because my wife started work from July 2011...
Had she worked full year, or if we look at past one year from today, I'd be well over lico.
Any other document I can use?

also my in-laws receives pensions from their contry so I don't need to support them. Their income doesn't count?

I don't know why the LICO table starts with 1. Howver you'll notice that after "1 person" it reads "your child or grandchild". This is your wife. 2 & 3 are you and your child. 4 & 5 are your in-laws.

No - you cannot include your in-law's income. Only yours and your wife's.

Hopefully others will be able to address your remaining questions.
