I came to know that, even after getting a PR-Vis for Canada under federal skilled category -Clinical Psychologist, one has to undergo either Bridge training program Plus Supervised practice before giving the 2 written Licensing exam i.e. EPPP, JEE and then give an oral exam as well, before one is permitted to work as a clinical Psychologist.
Though I am doctorate in Clinical Psychology from India having more than 8 years of job experience, I need to go there and wait for credential assessment and then know which programs I have to do before getting my License.
This I found to be bit stressful, coz meanwhile one can't do the job in the very filled one is skilled at, until one gets License. My query is then what jobs can I go for? coz I do not want to go for jobs which are not at all related to my field.
Need advice for ones who have undergone the same process.
