So according to the red book, the only change the liberals will actually make to immigration is doubling the cap to 10K for PGP and spending more money on CIC to reduce timeline. Nothing more.

So will the liberals actually leave the PR conditional 51 clause alone?

Will the liberals actually leave the age of 18 as dependents under PGP alone?

Will the liberals actually leave C-24 alone as is, keeping the revoking of Canadian citizenship from dual citizen convicted of terrorism alone?

Not sure about the rest but Liberals have opposed Bill C-24 during recent debates................

They might not be willing to promise a lot at this stage !

Oh, they will PROMISE... that's for sure. Just like they promised to get rid of the GST in the early 90s

Yes they did promised to get rid of it until they came into government and realized how much revenue it has been generating. They used the GST revenue for their pet projects until their credit ratings got downgraded. Forcing them to change direction and use it to get their debt down and budget back in surplus. Funny that the Liberals will never want to give credit to Mulroney for bringing in the hated GST that saved Canada's dire financial state from complete ruin. Mulroney should be called a martyr for sacrificing the party's chances at the elections to save Canada from financial ruin. Even I voted against the PC for bringing in the GST too. Now that the PC are vindicated by proving that GST was needed and necessary to bring Canada's finances into shape.

I just hope that if the Liberals do get their government, they will realize the errors of their promises and just stick to increasing spending to decrease timeline and double PGP cap and nothing more. Leave everything else alone.
