In the Liberal statement, it reads:
Granting immediate permanent residency to new spouses entering Canada, rather than imposing a two-year conditional status that puts spouses – often women – in a position of extreme vulnerability.
Does anyone know if that's just for applications from certain countries? And "new" wives? Can it apply to spouses of Canadian citizens who are celebrating their 7th anniversary next week as well?
