letters from mom and dad

Hello everyone,

Somebody please please please tell me what to do with the letter in support of our relationship with my husband:

my dad can speak and write in englsih on a pretty high level - not completely fluent but he is able to communicate

can he write up a letter in english - it'll be simple worded and probably have some mistakes
or do we need to make it out in our language and then translate and notirized etc etc???
