Hello Frnds,

I have received my passport today with visa stamped. While opening the package, letter which we get with visa got teared(not fully). Kindly let me know if this is can be ignored or it can create problem.

Regards,
Sunny

Hi Sunny,
The letter you are talking about is the letter which you have to show it to the officer when you land in Canada. Then he will take you to the immigration officer and then you have to show that letter to that immigration officer and he'll ask you some questions and if you satisfy him he will grant you permit. Failiure to do so may create some problem
The letter you tore is very important. I dont know will it create problem or not but what i think if its not fully teared then there's no problem still em not sure.

Use Magic Tape, also known as Magic Transparent Tape :D

Hi,

You do not need to worry. You actually received a letter of the canadian embassy with a special barcode. The immigration officer shall scan it and thereby issue you the study permit.

Magic Tape yaar that was mazaak :P

i think you can contact VFS of your city... but i dot think it should creat any problem. You can also call the VFS and ask them...

Hi,

I quote my post;

"You do not need to worry. You actually received a letter of the canadian embassy with a special barcode. The immigration officer shall scan it and thereby issue you the study permit."

Pay attention to the word “Special Barcode”…. It’s a secret barcode which only visa officer + immigration officer knows how to see/check it. We are innocent student, quite busy in day dreaming about Airhostess, so we do not know/see any such barcode.

Lol..it’s my bad joke. I apologize for my nonsense post.

@ sunny brar- there is absolutely no need to get high and dry for your letter. It's a normal thing. At least the content should be visible/readable.
