What EXACTLY are you trying to do? Unless you qualify to remain in Canada, you have to return home. Letters from relatives will not change anything. I'm assuming that your mother can't sponsor you as a dependent child.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your father.

Unfortunately, a letter from your mother and brother will have no effect on your ability to remain in Canada after your student visa expires.

Unless you are under age 22, you will need to find your own way to immigrate to Canada as you would be too old for your mother to sponsor you.

Good luck!

It would help to say which type of application you have submitted. Is it on humanitarian and compassionate basis?

If you are a student, then after graduation you will be eligible for a post-graduate work permit of up to 3 years(depending on length of your program of study). Once you work for 1 year in a skilled job(i.e. job falls under NOC O, A or B), you can apply for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class. You can also look into the provincial nominee program in your province or other provinces, the federal skilled worker program or the Quebec skilled work program.
