LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

I received my passport (visa) last Tuesday August 19, 2014 from the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and today (Friday) i had to cancel my flight since i did not receive the letter of introduction yet. I emailed the Embassy several times now but no reply. I have orientations in addition to the english placement test next week. My classes start on the 2nd of September, 2014. Do you think they will take this into concideration and send it soon? Is there a possibility that i might get this letter after the classes starts?

dont worry u will get it in a couple of days ... but I was also told that you can go without the letter

Any way if i don't get it by Sunday evening then I will fly to Abu Dhabi to visit the embassy on Monday morning and we'll see what will happen.

Your PP with a valid TRV on it is enough. All details are already on the system, all they need your UCI number as mentioned on your TRV.

Hey guys, just received the letter of introduction by email from CIC.

It is really bad that the CHC does not consistently send the passport with the visa stamped together with the letter of approval and then the applicants have to run after them.
