Are you getting a letter of invitation too? If not, include why you want to visit, itinerary etc. 3 months of bank statements

You need to explain the purpose of your visit for example the places that you want to visit, how long you want to stay etc!!
In my opinion you should include last 6 months statements.

give a brief intro about urself, what you do, where you stay in ur country, etc.

then your purpose of visit, who is inviting you, how many days are u going for, etc. etc.

then talk about the funds, who will sponsor your trip, how many funds you have fr ur trip, etc.

Then talk about reasons to return in terms of ties to home country.

lastly end with request to issue a visa.
