Letter of Explanation without signature

Hello kind folks - so I've written my LoE and I'm wondering if I can send it in without having to sign it (hand-written) on the last page of the letter.

Because if I have to do this, then that means I have to scan this page. And if I have to scan this page, I have to scan the rest of the document too; but then I cannot do this because the LoE contains hyperlinks from one part of the doc to another.

So question is: is it ok if I don't sign the LoE, but rather just print my name?

Hey Buddy, you may scan only your signature and paste same on the last page of your LOE. However, there's no requirement that LOE should be signed. Note that upon submission of your application, you will affix your electronic signature basically affirming that all your documents and information supplied are correct. Good luck.

Thanks man - copying your scanned signature onto the original .pdf -- is that ok..It will not be looked on unfavourably by the officer right?

I don't think so. You may paste your signature on the document before converting it to PDF.

No, you can use your digital signature. I used it on the LOE and no issues with that.

Thanks! and to clarify, by "digital signature" you mean scanning a sheet of paper with my signature on it, cutting my signature out of the scanned soft copy and pasting it onto my LoE right?

Yes. Or you can use a software to digitally sign, for example PDF expert.
