Letter of Employment

Hello All,

I need clarification on Letter of Employment requested by CIC along with PR application.

When its asks for Letter of Employment for last 10 years from all employees, does it inlcude all the employees which are based in other countries or its referring to only the employment history of Canada.

I have been in Canada for 2 yrs with 2 employers and can provide that information. For the remaining 8 yrs of employment should I be getting letter of employment from them. All my previous employers since 2010 are based in my home country.

Please advise.

where did u get the 10yrs employment letter information??? as far as i know, requirements states to obtain all letters since past 3 years of work within canada definitely not outside canada. i think ur refering for fsw and this forum is for cec. Sorry

Can you clarify which program you intend to apply to? This is posted in the Canadian Experience Class forum, the requirement is for the past 3 years in Canada only, not 10. The Skilled Workers program requires 10 years, regardless of location.
