Letter from the Consulate - Pls help !

Hi,

I received a letter from the CIC advising me that the interview is waived pending receipt of my medicals and FBI clearance.

Now, my question is...
1. what stage already am I?
2. Does it mean that I already qualify and have the points required ?
3. Does this mean that the interview is already waived or they will still review it after I send the medicals and FBI clearance ?
4. just got married & will add my wife, will this affect the situation ?
5. Is my wife also need to take the IELTS ?

please let me know guys !

Initial approval or IA, now the background checks start. If there are problems or doubts then CIC may still call you for an interview. Yes adding the wife will add some time, since you have to submit her application, admend yours, wait for her medical instructions, get her criminal record checks. No she doesn;t need IELTs.

My wife is still in PH, we got married recently, I'm H1B holder and she will join me here in the US after she got her H4 probably around april.

Can I already include her now on my apps. even she's still in PH reflecting our address there and that her application will be processed here in NY along with my apps. and not in Manila ?

Yes, you are adding to YOUR application, which is in Buffalo I assume.

Originally it's in Buffalo, but it was transferred to NY,NY.

So there's no issue about that right ? my apologies for asking it repeteadly.

I just wanted to very make it clear that her aplication will be alongside with mine in NY and not (her's) in Manila ?

I hope having been transfered from Buffalo to New York will not mean another transfer to Ghana as am experiencing now?

The law on regional classification of where to submit takes effect sometime ago which affected mine, I hope it wouldnt be applicable to u
