Hi,

My wife and I (both Canadian citizens) got two letters from our employers (still employed by them) 4 months ago when I wanted to invite my mother for a visit. For various reasons, we didn't get a chance to submit the application. I was wondering if we can submit the application with those employment letters now? (They are dated December 2022)

Thanks!

Letters are old too. Who says you are working there anymore. It doesn’t prove that you have a current job nor income. IRCC may not consider them. What does employment letters show to support her TRV?

I also have a personal invitation letter for her as well that follows the guidelines in CIC website.
