I received an email from CPP Ottawa for proof of relationship: Document proving my relationship with my inviter/family member :text message conversation log, phone call history log, email exchanges ." I would like to please how how far back do I have send texts from? Also can I just sent text messages or do I have to send all three texts, emails & phone logs. Finally if I send a document with texts I should take a picture of the texts & attach it to a document?

It's probably best to include a range of proof. For instance, I sent in text messages, phone call logs, chat logs, pictures and letters from every family member and friend I could squeeze them out of.

For the logs, I choose a random day from each month and I sent that days entire log. For instance, with my chat logs I sent seven years worth of logs from the fifteenth of each month. The more proof you have, the more concrete your application is.

Do you mind sharing your application timeline? I would definitely send a variety spanning from the beginning of your relationship to now, but focus on the highlights of each type of proof. It's whatever you think would convince the officer that you are obviously in a genuine relationship.

If I send texts should I take pictures of them from my phone so I can forward them to NY computer to print them out?

Depending on the type of phone you have, you might be able to export them from your phone to your computer, otherwise, screenshoting them would most likely be your best bet. Though that could be extremely time consuming.
