Hi I got the final decision as application Approved send your valid passport but no messages for passport request... It has been more than a week still I am waiting for passport request letter...Does any one have d same issue??

I am on the same boat. I see that in the "Final Decision" row but no messages. It's been about 8 days and still no approval letter/passport request.

In my case, I did get the letter under messages. So I submitted my passport with the letter to VFS Pune.

How is this possible? VFS Mumbai will not accept passport without the approval letter. Do you think visa office will accept the passport if I go there personally and submit it? Also did you submit any other documents along with the passport? Like VFS consent form,photocopies of passport or something?

In my case, I did get the letter under messages. So I submitted my passport with the letter to VFS Pune.
And yes, at VFS I only signed the VFS Consent forms...but didn't submit any additional photocopies of passport or anything.

Yes, I applied online on 22nd May and got the Passport submit request on 12 June. Got my stamped passport on 20 June.

In my opinion applying online is faster nowadays than going for paper based at vfs,i had applied online on may13th and got approval on june7th.

Yes got it on the same day itself. I had applied online so its general.

Guys, I finally got the approval letter.
I applied online on may 17th. Application was approved in June 6 the itself. But there was no approval letter.
On 24 the June I got the approval letter via email from CIC, as a reply to an email I send them regarding this.
Note that date on the approval letter was June 6 th itself.
So if there is anyone whose application is approved but didn't get the letter,I would suggest them to mail CIC as quickly as possible. We have to submit the passport in 30 days,counting from the date of approval.
VFS only needs a copy of approval letter and passport.
