Hi there everyone!
I am from Poland and I'm planning to start a diploma in September.
I've got a BE and a Msc in landscape architecture and a certificate in regional planning. I've been searching for an environmental program in AB or BC (as I would like to be near the Rockies) and I'm really interested in:
Okanagan College, Kelowna, BC - Environmental Studies Diploma/Environmental Management
Selkirk College, Castlegar, BC -Integrated Environmental Planning
Lethbridge College, Lethbridge, AB - Renewable Resource Management
I heard that Kelowna is beautiful but expensive, Lethbridge on the other hand is bad if it comes to transportation and the weather. Castlegar's dipoma curriculum is the most interesting for me personally, although the town is so small tham I am concerned if I could find a part - time job there, which could help me pay my bills.
Therefore I would like to ask for help. Which place is the best for living for a part-time working female student? I would ask you to consider costs of living, wages and part-time work availability.
I am also considering a hospitality management diploma in Calgary, as I heard it's a good place to live in. Or maybe you know some other places and related to my interests diplomas you could recommend?
Thank you!
