I would think that might be a problem, since the relationship would (probably) no longer be conjugal in nature (lovey dovey :-*). It would be platonic, which would definitely not conform to Condition 51.

Now, if the PR does not have Condition 51, it probably would continue until the 3 years is up for the sponsor's financial responsibility for the PR.
 
Ok, they love each other, but because of some financial problem in countries in they born it is better for them to be divorced.

So this is situation. They are married from 26 of may 2012. He got permanent resident status in October 2015. He is sponsored person. They live together from April 2012. So I do not know if the condition 51 is still on action.
 
He has Condition 51 if it says so on his visa. If not, he is fine. Even if he has the condition, if they are still in a relationship, it should be OK. If CIC comes calling, they may have to prove they are still living together in a conjugal relationship, so they should keep proof of this.
