Example Scenario:
- Parents sponsorship intent selected in draw.
- Parents currently don't reside in the country of origin or current passport.
- Parents legal status in the current country of residence expired.
- Kids now at a stage to file for PR application.
My question:
1. Can the parents immigrate from the current residing Country (status expired)?
2. Or go back to home country and wait for the Canadian home office correspondence?
Assuming all background checks like police clearance etc. can be made available in any country the parents have resided more than 6 months.
