Legal Remedies Available

What legal remedies are available if we are not satisfied with IRCC’s actions? I am specifically asking for Inland PNP based CEC whose files are under process for long time and have not been touched in several months. On the other hand applicants who received ITAs this year under CEC are receiving COPRs in 2-3 months when these applicants have lower score than PNP, don’t have guaranteed jobs as PNPs have and still their applications are processed several times faster than PNP. Isn’t it discrimination?
@legalfacon can you pl let us know if there’s any official complaint process to challenge IRCC’s discriminatory policies?

If you can get your story reported on CBC front page. It will get their attention.
Legal action? I don’t think it will make much difference

I am talking about the ground of discrimination against a particular group. We, the inland PNP (and maybe inland fsw) have been particularly discriminated against by IRCC despite the fact that we have higher scores than recent CEC and we are in the que for a very long time. If COVID is impacting our applications, then how the recent CEC are COVID proof, rather COVID has expedited their cases and they are getting approval in2-3 months. We have paid same fee to IRCC than why resources have been diverted to CEC while we are being put on hold.
Almost all pnp are stuck at security not started stage.

Just checked Canada human rights tribunal. In their mission statement they have mentioned everyone has right to equality. I think we can base our case on this ground and file complaint with HRT. It’s free

I don't know much about it. But I know how you feel. I sumitted my paper base PNP application back in Dec 2020. I haven't even receive my AOR, more than seven month now. I know people submitted in Oct 2020 haven't receive them. I don't even know what to say.

Well; we have struggled hard to settle in this beautiful land not for its beauty only but also it’s transparent systems. If the systems are going to deteriorate then what’s the purpose of coming here. We can’t let it happen. It’s our country now though technically we have to wait till we get PR/citizenship. We have been contributing to the economy; we are taking part in shaping a diversified culture. And let me admit it’s canada that has taught me to whistle blow if I see something wrong is happening around. It’s time to whistle blow. IRCC’s current discriminatory policy needs corrections.
