I am currently in U.A.E and my application is under process in London Visa Office.

It has been 9 months since I submitted my application and the it is expected to finish in a few months according to the 12 months official processing time (if everything goes well) . Due to some reason, I will have to leave U.A.E and move back to my home country very soon and I can't stay until I get my result in U.A.E as I planned before.

The question is, since I will lose my resident status in U.A.E where I submitted my application in the first place, will my current visa office (London Visa Office) stop processing my application and transfer my files to the visa office in my home country and start all over again? Or London Visa Office will still continue processing my application until it's done and then inform me where to send my passport?

Visa Offices are assigned generally based on your Nationality. It hardly has anything to do with your immigration status in a foreign country.

All you have to do is inform IRCC of your change of address. It will not affect your PR application processing in any way.

IRCC will not stop processing your application but when application is approved may request you to send your passport through VFS UAE as they are not aware you had moved out.....you may send a letter through IRCC webform to inform your visa office of your change of address.

Mine was assigned based on the resident country as they did not assign to my home country . but you are right, I'll just inform them.

Thanks, so I better inform them as soon as I leave so they will reconsider where to submit my passport

It doesn't necessarily have to be your home country. For example, Pakistani applicants have their application processed in London Visa Office (UK), not in Islamabad Visa Office (Pakistan), regardless of where you are currently living.
