Leaving Canada with a Study permit

Has anyone tried leaving Canada with a student permit then come back again?
I will visit US for a week then come back at Canada. What will they need at the canada immigration once Im back?Thank you

Same thing you needed first time you entered Canada: A visa or e-visa depending on your citizenship.

1. Ignore most of the remarks. If you have a valid study permit, and are only travelling to the US or St. Pierre et Miquelon, then you can return to Canada within the validity of your study permit and your valid passport. You don't require a new TRV.
