Leaving Canada and coming back before applying post graduate work permit

I am finishing my study on April 15th 2020 and want to visit my home country for a month.I will come back by May 20th. My school said they will give me official grades and letter of completion by end of may.

My student permit is valid till August 2020. My student visa has expired on 1st March. I have the tourist visa valid till 2024


Is it safe to go and reenter without applying post graduate work permit ? Will there be issue if I reenter using tourist visa ?

1. With a valid study permit and a valid TRV, you are admissible to Canada.
