Leaving Airport on transit visa

Hi

I just wanna confirm tht I am flying from Sydney to seattle (USA) on 11 july and transiting through vancouver airport and layover is of 12 hrs,I m planning to visit outside in the meanwhile time , can anyone confirms that am I allow to leave airport on my transit visa on the way to US on my Indian passport

No, you can’t.

Canadian transit visa rules are different from US transit visa rules.

If you want to leave the airport in Vancouver, you have to apply for a regular TRV.
