Hello All,

I would like to leave Canada for a week to visit home (The Bahamas) while my PGWP processes. At the moment, I can work full-time while it processes. If I leave the country and come back, will I still be able to work while I wait for my PGWP?

Googled for a while and can't find any info.

Thanks!

Hello ,
yes you can work full time after come back because you are on study permit it allows you to work part time when you are a student and full time when you are not a student or in summer break. Don't worry , it's not a big issue because you are on implied status at this time .

1. If your study permit is still valid, you can work on your return.
2. If you are on an implied status, you can work as long as you are in Canada. The moment you leave Canada, your implied status is gone and you can't work.
