Hello.
My current status is Medical Passed under PNP-Inland. (I am also holding a closed work permit, valid until may 2020).
It's been almost 5 months, so I am expecting PPR soon. AFAIK from some countries that don't require Visa to enter (and only require ETA), they will be asked to send only pictures of the passport plus digital pictures, and not the actual passport.
I need to leave for 2 weeks to US in the following weeks. my questions are:

1) If I got PPR let's say 1 week before leaving to US, will I have problems when coming back? what / who should I contact to make sure?
2) if I got PPR during my stay on US, but I already have the pictures taken. Can I ask my wife to send the pictures on behalf of us, while I am away?
Recall that I do have a valid work permit while waiting for PPR, so afaik, I shouldn't have any problem while entering the country by showing the work permit, but I am worried that CBSA might see different statuses on their end.
Cheers
