I have questions regarding on my situation.
I have applied my open work permit together with my permanent residency application and I recieved a confirmation that it's in process right now. I am a live in care giver And my current work permit and the contract with my employer expires on July, 2017.
I believe that while my papers for permanent residency is in process, i should have a legal papers in canada, and for now only my current work permit with my employer is my legal paper here in canada which is just the work permit for Live-in caregiver.
What if my employer terminates our contract? Is my current work permit will be automatically terminated as well?
Am I be able to stay legally in Canada even if my contract will be terminated and if I'll lost my job and unemployed while waiting for the decisions made for my open work permit and permanent residency applications?
Also, I have a canadian citizen boyfriend and I am 1 month pregnant. In this situation, does it affects my whole applications? What should I add to my applications to be able to stay legally in canada while waiting for my open work permit and permanent residency application?
As of now nothing changed yet, so do i have to send a letter that im pregnant?
