Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but my knowledge is that you can't pay the RPRF online as the payment through this channel goes to CIC.

RPRF is paid to the visa office processing your application. You can get information on this on CIC's website where there is a directory of visa offices. RPRF can be in the form of a bank draft, certified check or money order in US of Canadian dollars. No credit cards or personal checks accepted.

Some offices do not accept payment thru credit cards. I think Vegreville does (not 100% sure), so you can pay online and send the original copy of the receipt.

thats what i thought too but i called cic last friday and asked them if i can pay the landing fee now coz the canadian embassy in the Philippines already asked for my hubby's passport for issuance of visa but the principal sponsor (myself) needs to pay the landing fee first.. im so worried and want to pay right away because it says on the letter that if his medical is less than 4 months, he needs to undergo medical again.. his medical is valid til August 11, 2011,.

Were you able to print out a receipt?

That's sad :( you lost your internet connection without finishing the process? The system sends you and email of the receipt, doesn't it? Have you checked the email address you used when you signed in for the online payment? I think you can also request for receipt/s and then pay at financial institutions (your bank) accepting payments.
