Language courses in Vancouver

I finally received my COPR and it's time for plans!

My common law partner and I would like to improve our English skills as we will land in Vancouver, BC.
I have seen that you can find a lot of tax-payer founded language courses in there, but they usually have long wait lists. The fact is, I would prefer to pay a bit but have full-time education and complete immersion in the language.

I have two options I guess:
1) Go to a school with small waiting lists -> where?
2) Pay some money, hopefully half myself half Canadian tax payers and go somewhere better -> suggestions?

Congratulations on your COPR! It's great that you're looking to improve your language skills, although it sounds like your level of English is already very good. Try the "Learn English" link on the issbc.org web site. They have information on lots of different options in Vancouver, or you could just contact them directly for advice.

That's it, it is exactly where they have huge waitlists
Unfortunately is seems that all the LINC programs in Vancouver are booked (I am not surprised given the overpopulated area). I asked a couple of times to that one and Mosaic as well. You need to wait.
