Landing

Is it possible to Land in Vancouver (written in my application) and give the address of my friend in Toronto for initial PR card. Because I will be living in a temporary house for few months before I move to something permanent. And I think it will be more secure with my friend's permanent address in Toronto.

Will there be a problem at Port of Entry, if I do so?

No. No confusion. Some people even enter give a friends address and leave the country..

Hi,

I don't think it will work at airport, but you can ask them that you will fax the residential adders later ( as at present you don't know your permanent address, even ask them if you will move to Toronto within few weeks? can you send from there ?), they will give you the form to fill and send later by fax it is center fax number. You can send scan copy to your friend in Toronto and he can fax on your behalf from Toronto.

Absolutely no problem. If IO asks you, tell him/her that you would be moving to Toronto soon.
