Hi All

Do you know if i can land in Calgary Alberta and go through Port of entry etc.. with the intention to settle in British Columbia or do i have to activate my visa in BC?

jonnt, your visa and COPR must be handed in to immigration at your first POE and is good throughout Canada. You do not need to report to bc officials. They will affix the visa and COPR in your passport and you take that with some pic ID to the closest Service Canada office and apply for your SIN. You will be able to work right away once you get the SIN. Know you didn't ask that but info for you

You should be able to land hassle-free anywhere except Quebec.

(Quebec is possible if you have proof that you are travelling on somewhere else, for example, you are landing in Montreal only to change to a connecting flight to BC.)
