Hi guys:
Actually, I am asking questions, I know well that it's soooooooo early to ask...but I like to know every single information about immigration.....
My question today is:
I am planning,If I hopefully get the visa,to land only for 15 days then come back to my job here in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,because of special circumstances......so, I will stay for 15 days only as I mentioned and that period won't be enough to send me the PR card....Would be acceptable if I asked them to send it to my P.O box in Saudi Arabia??????????????
2. As mentioned above,I intend to stay for 15 days only then go back to my job.....so
Is it essential to complete the insurance card and to open a bank account and other important things for new immigrants?????

It will take 3 weeks to get the PR mail to the Canada address you indicated at the time of landing.

Thx Benny.....but still u don't answer my whole question...number 2.. I mean...
again, ur answer means that I cannot ask to send it to my Saudi post?????
must I wait them to send it????? then how will I tell them where I will live at the time I don't know anything or where I will live????????

1.To play safe,it will be advisable to wait and collect your PR Card before returning.
2.You can pre book an apartment before landing if you do not have anybody to stay with for that short period.

I heard that you can provide a friend's address ( that lives in Canada). Your friend then send you the PR card once receives

Hey Louay, Canada will not send our PR cards overseas. But u can ask a friend to do so. Except Alberta, u will need to wait for your health cards, which in 15 days u cant. Bank account u can do anytime. So, I suggest wait if u can, or come back and do all those tasks.

yes louay, that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, but only if you will be living with your friend. If you tell them it's your friend's place and you want it sent there for convenience they will refuse. You have to provide your own, personal address. If you don't have one they will give you a form to send them after you have an address, which has to be done within a certain period if time (I believe it is 60 days), or you will have to apply for a new PR card which will cost you, will take 6 months or so, and which has to be picked up in person.
