Landing with PR under PNP nomination

Hi,

If I land in Canada and go thru immigration, is it possible that my initial residence be outside the province that nominated me?

I am planning to to settle first in BC for the first few weeks (because my relatives are there), then travel to SK (the province that nominated me) to look for a permanent house and job. I plan to do the SK part for a month and stay in an airBnB or hotel. If I get a job/house in SK, that's when I move my stuff from BC.

If you are coming to Canada from outside (i.e. some other country), it would be advisable to land directly in the province which has nominated you.

Find an airbnb or other suitable temporary residence option. Then once in Canada, you can search for a better or more convenient and affordable place.

I don't think initially landing and residing in BC will help you if you are going to settle in another province. Also, it might create doubts that you might not be interested in permanently settling in the province which has nominated you.

You can wait for some other responses or input from senior experts, but my suggestion is, if you're coming from outside Canada, land directly in the province of your nomination.

What website do pnp often use to find a medium term stay in Canada? I tried airBnb on SK, the price range is at $1300. Not sure if there is something cheaper than that.
